Every day we offer complimentary ski guiding service on the slopes above Niederau, only occasionally to Auffach and Alpbach (most guests know the terrain), definitely to all parts of the SkiWelt, Kitzbuhel, Jochberg and Pass Thurn and often a little further afield to Steinplatter, the Ski Circus with access via Fieberbrunn, Zell am Ziller and Gerlos on the Zillertal and even Mayhofen, Kaltenbach and Hoch Fungen.
All except the last two available on the Salzburger Superski Pass - a combined pass that soaks up more resorts than any other in the world. Guiding never replaces ski school - it's not instruction and never will be. Guiding with the Staffler is an opportunity to explore familiar or new piste, resorts, bars and restaurants with Staffler staff who know and absolutely love the mountains. Its about not having to refer to a piste map, suitability of slopes and lifts but more about being able to concentrate on your skiing, putting kilometers under your feet, in good company and with a common purpose.
Guiding is offered to reasonably competent skiers and better boarders - an ability to negotiate red runs with ease and fairly quickly in parallel sets the standard. We usually guide in groups of no more than eight or ten. More up for guiding, more guides!
It's a complimentary service, undertaken at your own risk, all we ask in return is that you chip in collectively for your guides lunch and drinks throughout the day and embrace the experience. Most do returning time after time, year after year. Along with outstanding service it's our main USP and we're very proud of it!
A Staffler Ski Guide does an average of over 3000kms in a season and loves every minute of it!
