The Hotel
En-suite bedrooms are simply furnished. A number can accommodate additional beds, some have balconies and all have mountain views. There are also a limited number of interconnecting family rooms.

The ground floor has a comfortable reception area, a bright and airy dining room, a lovely sunny terrace and O’Malley’s bar – always popular and busy with hotel and resort – wide guests alike. Streamed sport and high-speed WiFi is available throughout the hotel. We also love our pets.

In the basement is our ever-popular late bar – The Cave.

If accommodation choice is about a simple approach, an outstanding service, complimentary ski guiding, lively bars with spades of atmosphere and lots more besides then the Staffler will undoubtedly satisfy!

The three alpine villages of Niederau, Oberau and Auffach nestle in one of Austria's most beautiful valleys - the Wildschonau. Niederau is a friendly and generally snow-sure resort. There are several hotels and guest houses scattered around a small village centre which also has a ski shop, two ski hire outlets, bars, restaurants and a bank. Close by are two large supermarkets and a petrol station/garage.

Apres Ski and night time bars are all pretty relaxed and informal. There are a scattering of bars close to the slopes. There's also the busy bar and terrace at O'Malley's. The Cave underneath the hotel is a Niederau institution - and has been for over 50 years. Something going on every night and live music as well.
The Resort
The resort's main ski lifts and nursery slopes are less than 150 meters from the hotel and apart from crossing the main road, our guests can ski back to the door for most of the season. The resort villages of Oberau and Auffach are easily accessible by complimentary ski bus.
The Wildschonau is just 20 minutes from the town of Worgl. With its mainline railway station and direct access to the motorways, there are simple and fast connections to Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich.

Staffler
Gastronomy

It all starts in the kitchen and at the Staffler, we’re justifiably proud of our half board offering. There’s an expansive continental breakfast – seeds, dried fruits and yogurts, homemade baked breads, local honey and cheeses, a selection of meats, home made jams and fresh fruit together with Clipper fair trade tea and Rain Forest Alliance coffee. Lovely.

We also offering a number of optional cooked breakfast items including bacon butties made with award winning British bacon. Yum!’

Evening meals at the Staffler are a delight! Three courses and always with a canapé. There’s soup – homemade, using vegetable stock and suitable for most dietary requirements and always served with freshly baked bread. Our main courses are tasty and wholesome and our deserts are a real treat – mostly celebrating ‘Great British Puddings’ – historical with a modern twist.
We love our food and with that food love comes a reluctance to throw any of it away. So we’ve asked around and collected knowledge and ideas and perfected several techniques and good habits to enable us to make the very most of our beloved grub. We are mindful of the distance our product travels so we try hard to offer locally sourced ingredients. At dinner we offer an ever increasing number of vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as non – dairy milk, spreads and cheeses at breakfast.
