The staff we employ at the Staffler have to be a very special breed indeed! We’re absolutely not about ‘ordinary’ in any way. We’re about flexibility and adaptability. We’re not about the academics but flair and individuality and experiences that will enhance our product. 
Our season-long remuneration packages reflect the very special people we already employ and those we are looking for.

Our winter season starts on 7 December 2023
We’ve got a number of job opportunities for this season. If you think one of the roles is the right fit for you then simply contact us by email in the first instance attaching a current CV and references. We always reply personally to all enquiries. Please be aware that our season starts with a comprehensive staff training program at the beginning of December.
 
 

Please also note that, post Brexit unless we consider a candidate to be exceptional we rarely accept UK passport holder applications anymore. Those English-speaking applicants with an EU passport from any of the 27 member states and British citizens with Austrian residency can apply without issue.

2023/24 season roles
Ski Guides
Reporting to our Head Guide and senior management a Staffler Ski Guide is a very special person indeed – fundamentally a very good and experienced skier – always one step ahead at least of the very best of our guests.
Position Filled
O’Malleys Bar Manager
A key role overseeing our busy daytime and evening Irish bar servicing guests of the hotel and those others staying in the resort.

Late Bar (The Cave) Manager
A role that combines responsibility for overseeing our late night bar – the Cave, alongside covering the majority of our bar shifts, with other bar staff, six nights a week.

We are looking for experienced, flexible and energetic bar staff to work in both our hotel/public Irish bar – O’Malley’s and our late bar, the Cave.

We have a job opportunity overseeing our wonderful guest dining experience combined with time spent working on O’Malley’s bar.

Assistant to head chef 
Our food offering at the Staffler is an integral part of the product we offer. We’ve a hard worked for reputation for the quality and presentation of what we put on a guests plate.

Housekeeper
We are a 28 bedroom hotel – all rooms en suite with two bars and a small number of public areas. Laundry (bed linen, towels, table cloths and napkins) is contracted out re washing and pressing on a weekly returns basis.

KP/Kitchen Assistant
This role combines working in our kitchen as a kitchen assistant alongside our small dedicated and focused chefs, waitrons and bar staff afternoons and evenings, six days week.

General Hotel Maintenance
A specific job role title but which actually covers a variety of responsibilities which requires an ability to work under time pressures at times. An understanding of and experience across a number of trades is essential – general plumbing and electrics especially.
